Seven tools.
One job screen.
We wrote the software our detailers use, for the jobs we run. It reads drawings, checks sheets against the model, files RFIs and keeps the register. It never signs a sheet. A person does.
- RFI Managerraise, send, read the reply, close; ask it in plain English
- Dimension Checkevery dimension on every sheet read against the model
- Drawing to Modela framing plan read and placed in SDS/2
- Drawing Controlone register of every sheet, revision and holder
- Knowledge Keeper chatyour standards, answered with the page
- Sequence Creator and ABMfrom the sequence list to ABM pages

Three of them,
live
The three a fabricator sees most. Each runs on a loop here the way it runs on a job.
RFI Manager
Every question to the engineer, numbered, dated, assigned and answered in one register. The fabricator sees the same list we do.
Drawing to Model
Reads the framing plan and places the members in SDS/2 itself. A person confirms, then detailing starts from a model, not a blank screen.
Dimension Check
Reads every dimension on the sheet back against the model before a person sees it. Agreements go green, doubts amber, mismatches red.
All seven
What each one does, what it has done, and what a person still does. That last line is the one to read.
RFI Manager
Your RFI template and numbering. Replies are read, including mark-ups on the PDF, and turned into tasks on the sheets they touch. "Which RFIs are open on sequence 3?" is answered in plain English.
Dimension Check
Reads every dimension, mark, hole and length on a sheet back against the SDS/2 model. Green, amber, red. Errors are planted on every run to prove the check is awake.
Drawing to Model
Upload a framing plan. Check the overlay of what it read against the drawing. Approve. The office PC places the members in SDS/2.
Drawing Control
One register of every sheet, fed from SDS/2 every hour. Who has sheet E-37, at what revision, since when. Transmittals go out in one approval.
Knowledge Keeper chat
Your shop standards and the job's documents, answered in one sentence with the page reference. It checks its own answer against the source before it shows it. One client's files never reach another's.
Sequence Creator and ABM
From your sequence list to finished advance bill of material pages: members grouped, marked and summed by sequence, in the layout your mill order needs.
The small ones
Shipping List sums what actually ships by sequence and caught a 124,243 lb list that was really 66,845 lb. Elevation Report lists every mark on the erection drawing that is not in the model, 33 of them on one job. Job Lock Monitor shows who has which SDS/2 job open, so nobody waits on a lock.
The platform
behind them
Knowledge Keeper is the platform we built over a year to run our own office. Sixteen screens, seven desktop tools, one job screen you can see.
- 01Built for our jobs, not for sale.Every tool exists because a detailer here needed it on a job that was running.
- 02Proven here first. When it is proven in our office we will offer it to other detailing offices. Nothing is sold or priced yet.
- 03Your data stays yours. Each client's drawings, standards and RFIs are held apart. The chat for one client cannot see another's files.
- 04Interested?Register interest and we will tell you when it is ready for other offices.
See it on your job.
